Recently I was attending a 4-day training class–the details of the class and why I was there aren’t important (trust me). But while I was there I was out-of-pocket to actually be productive during the business day. I was sitting in front of a computer the whole time, but it wasn’t mine and it had limited Internet access.
As luck would have it, I get an urgent email and voice mail from a client needing email support for their SIX15-hosted account. I know this because my iPhone is screaming at me to be picked up and acknowledged.
I could’ve excused myself from the class to handle the issue, but oh… that’s right–I didn’t have my laptop. So while the instructor was droning on about something, I realize that I could possibly handle this support request using my iPhone. Continue reading →

Pictures don’t do it justice.
Yes, my MacBook Pro contains my entire business: templates, forms, documents, applications, password repositories, and local development environment. I am running a local copy of Apache, MySQL, PHP, and Ruby on Rails.
