How to Prevent Gravity Forms from Storing Entries in WordPress

I use Gravity Forms for all WordPress-powered sites I deliver for clients. It’s a great form plugin that has powerful features for data collection and notification. However, the plugin stores every entry in the WordPress database along with sending the entries to the designated recipient(s). That’s all well and good since it keeps a record of everything for reference or later use.

But there may be instances when that information should not be saved, or there’s simply not a need to save it, so why clutter your database? Thomas Griffin has written up a couple functions, that when added to a theme’s functions.php file will prevent Gravity Forms from saving submitted data.
